As soon as a BID chip/key is connected to the char-
ger from the start display or from any other menu on
the set-up level the charger switches to the mode
for charging/discharging a battery with BID chip/key
or for programming a BID chip/key. All parameters
for the battery, for which this chip is to be used, can
be set from this menu. In addition, stored charge
or discharge values can be read (see Section 8.3).
The programming menu is exited on removing a BID
chip/key and the Start display is shown again.
