ON/STOP SWITCH (SIDE VIEW) ON STOP 1. Move ON/STOP switch to the ON position. 2. Pull choke/fast idle lever out to the full extent (to the FULL CHOKE position). 3. Slowly press primer bulb 6 times. 4. Pull the starter rope sharply 5 times with your right hand. Then, proceed to the next step. NOTE: If the engine sounds as if it is trying to start before the 5th pull, stop pulling and immediately proceed to the next step. 5. Push the choke/fast idle lever in to the HALF CHOKE position.

If your saw cuts to one side, has to be forced through the cut, or been run with an improper amount of bar lubrication it may be necessary to service your bar. A worn bar will damage your chain and make cutting difficult.
