Install Instructions (POSTS):
- Drill 3/8"” treatment holes at a 45-degree angle in the
ground line area as specified in the table above. Refer to the
Loading Table for number of borings, boring depths, and
Post Proservative stick load rate.
-Keep maximum 6” vertical separation between drill holes as
required starting at ground line. Start at Ground Line and drill
next holes 6” below ground line rotating 120 deg as much as
possible as needed. If unable to install below ground line
install Post Proservative sticks at ground line area.
- Take care that the drill does not exit on the opposite side of
the post.
- Insert Post Proservative sticks tapered end first.
- Plug the bored holes with the appropriate size Plug. A 7/16”
Plug fits a 3/8” drill hole.
- Plug may be removed using a Pro Plug removal tool by
inserting the tool into the slot on the head of the plug and
twisting in a counter clockwise direction or by using a 3/16”
flat screwdriver.
- If treating a smaller size post, a steeper treatment boring
angle may be used to ensure there is adequate room for the
stick and plug without drilling through structure.
