Attach mounting plate (D) to outlet box
(not included) using existing washers and
outlet box screws or the machine screws (BB).
NOTE: If the outlet box screws required for
your outlet box are of a different size than the
machine screws (BB), consult a licensed
electrician before proceeding.
Use a level (not included) to adjust mounting
plate (D) so fixture screws preassembled to
mounting plate (D) are perpendicular to floor
and ceiling. Then, tighten machine screws
(BB) completely to secure mounting plate (D).
CAUTION: Make sure the outlet box can
support 35 lbs. hanging weight. Use metal
outlet box; plastic outlet boxes are not
recommended.

Remove decorative nuts (E) from fixture
screws preassembled on mounting plate (D)
and save decorative nuts (E) for later use.
Adjust fixture screws to proper length by
screwing fixture screws completely into
mounting plate (D). Temporarily place fixture
(A) over mounting plate (D) to determine
amount of adjustment necessary for fixture
screws -- fixture screws should come through
holes in fixture (A) just enough so decorative
nuts (E) will fit flush against fixture (A) when
mounted.
Once fixture screws are adjusted, use pliers
(not included) to tighten preassembled nuts on
fixture screws until nuts touch mounting plate
(D).
