3. Attach wire nuts (AA). Tape wire nuts (AA)
and wires together.

6. Install light bulb (not included). Use 60-watt max.
standard-base incandescent bulb or halogen/
CFL/LED equivalent.
2. Strip 3/4 in. of insulation from wire ends.
Twist stripped ends together with pliers (not
included), black to black (power) and white to
white (neutral). Attach copper wire to ground
wire. Helpful hint: If necessary, attach copper
ground wire to grounded outlet box.

1. Remove cap nut (DD) from mounting bracket (CC).
Attach mounting bracket (CC) to the outlet box (not
included) with mounting screws (BB).
Note: Preassembled threaded rod on mounting
bracket (CC) should protrude away from outlet box.
4. Remove knob (I), cap (H), and nut (C) from
threaded nipple (D). Tighten the remaining nut (C)
as needed, adjusting gasket (E) and rubber ring (F)
as needed. Install glass shade (G) onto the
threaded nipple (D), securing with previously
removed nut (C). Replace cap (H) and knob (I)
onto threaded nipple (D).
5. Place xture (B) onto mounting bracket (CC), then
secure with previously removed cap nut (DD).
