6. Apply silicone caulk (not included) completely around the
base of the fixture (A) to prevent water from seeping into the
junction box.
Assembly is now complete. Press the RESET button inside
the base of fixture (A) to restore power to the fixture (A) and
ensure both the light as well as the outlets inside the base
work properly. Refer to TROUBLESHOOTING on the next
page if any issues arise.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To clean, turn OFF all power to circuit and clean surfaces with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
It is recommended that the GFCI outlets in the base of the fixture are tested every month to ensure
proper operation. To do so, press the TEST button inside the base. This should stop the flow of
electricity, making the fixture itself as well as anything plugged into the outlets shut off. The
indicator light for the GFCI will also turn off and the RESET button will pop out from its "ON"
position. To restore the power, simply press the RESET button again; if the GFCI cannot be reset,
then it must be replaced. Call a licensed, qualified electrician.
CAUTION:
DO NOT rely on wall switch alone to turn off power.
