7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
7.1 Precautions during Handling: Do not use in the vicinity of naked flames and sources of heat.
Use only as per instructions supplied.
7.2 Precautions during Storage: Store away from sources of heat and ignition.
Store in suitable storage box allow unit to cool before storage.
7.3 Packing Materials: Cardboard / Plastic.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
8.1 Special Protective Measures: Use in well ventilated areas. Do not use in confined spaces
Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not place in fire or
near a naked flame. Do not expose to temperature exceeding + 50°C
(+120°F). Do not puncture or pierce even after use. Do not
incinerate. When operating, ensure you are not near naked flames or
combustible materials. Do not leave unit unattended. Point away
from body and face when igniting. Ensure unit is cool before
removing or replacing tip. During and after use unit becomes hot
very quickly; do not touch tip or surrounding area. If unit is leaking
switch off and leave in an open well-ventilated area until empty and
return to purchase outlet.
8.2 Respiratory: Avoid exposure to butane gas vapour.
Hand: Avoid contact with butane gas.
Eye: Avoid contact with butane gas.
Skin: Avoid contact with butane gas.
Exposure Limits (gas): Long-term (8hr TWA) : 600ppm
Short-term (10 min) : 750 ppm
