32 The Impulse Web Server
The Impulse Web Server
Accessing Your Impulse Web Server
Each Impulse board has a unique web address that appears inside
the left door on an instruction label. (If the web address is not
written there, contact your IT administrator.)
To view captured images on the web server:
1 Write down the Impulse web address found inside the left door.
2 Turn on a computer that shares the same LAN as the Impulse
system.
3 Run a web browser application such as Internet Explorer or
Netscape Navigator.
4 Enter the web address in the “Address” field and press Enter.
The Impulse website opens.
NOTE:NOTE:
If your Impulse has a host name, you can add the Impulse website to
your Favorites or create a shortcut. (In most browsers, you can drag
the address to a “Links” area, and it will create a shortcut for you.)
