2 Press Laptop on the control panel.
3 While projecting images on the board, you can choose between
Merged and Separate Projection Mode to operate the computer
from the board. This determines whether:
• the stylus can point directly at the projected computer screen,
to control the computer as if using a touch screen monitor
(absolute pointing), or,
• the stylus always controls the computer’s cursor from a dis-
tance, as if using a mouse (relative pointing).
Refer to “Choosing a Projection Mode” on page 26 for more
information about relative and absolute pointing. To change
projection mode, press Writing and Projection on the control
panel until the Merged or Separate LED is on.
While your laptop screen is projected onto the board, you can
operate the computer and its software from the board using the
stylus. This frees you to focus entirely on activity at the whiteboard.
To use the stylus to operate your computer:
• leave the stylus cap on a marker
