Pattern tracks remixing

Performance mode is also a convenient and powerful tool to make breakdowns, add live on-
the-fly changes to patterns in a Song mode, or even remix entire tracks.
On the bottom of the Performance mode screen – find 8 buttons indicating the pattern
number for each track. Selecting the corresponding screen key applies the chosen punch-in
effects to this particular track. But thereʼs one more function here which allows you to mix
and play different tracks from any of the previously created patterns.
To switch the track pattern, get out from the Edit mode, then hold the desired screen key
and use up/down arrow keys.
In the Performance mode, the particularpattern tracksare being changedby holding one or
more screen track buttons and using:
Left/right arrows for a sequential change – patterns change after the currently playing
pattern phrase reaches its end (pattern number will blink red),
Up/down arrows and Jog wheel for an immediate pattern change.
Important:
Organize selected performance effects by moving them left and right using theShift +
left/right arrowshortcut when Edit modeis on (Rec).
Change more than one pattern tracks at the same time, just hold more than one screen
keys and use the up/down arrow or the jog-wheel.
All the changes made in the Performance mode are disabled when exiting the mode.
When mixing tracks from patterns of different lengths it takes the longest one and
loops it whereas the shorter are cut.
