PROGRAMME P3 - Upholstery, wall coverings, car interiors
This programme combines steam and suction to clean fabrics, and eliminate mites and unpleasant
odours.
♦ Set the P3 programme described in the paragraph “Pre-set programmes”.
♦ Holding the steam button (A5) down intermittent jets of steam are supplied and at the same time
suction starts.
♦ Release the button (A5) to stop the steam flow, while suction will continue for a few seconds
more to dry the surface treated.
♦ Suction stops automatically after a period of time in proportion to the time the steam was sup-
plied.
♦ In any case, it is possible to stop the programme manually by pressing the suction button (A4).
♦ If you need to restart the programme to complete cleaning the entire surface, just press the but-
ton (A5) again.
PROGRAMME P0 - Suction
This programme allows you to vacuum up dust and liquids or efficiently remove animal hair.
♦ Set the P0 programme described in the paragraph “Pre-set programmes”.
♦ Holding the suction button down (A4) suction will be activated at the maximum pressure.
♦ It is possible to stop the programme manually by pressing the button (A4) again.
Lack of water in the boiler will be displayed by the indicator light (8G) and the equipment, regar-
dless of the mode of use, will go into manual mode (MA). To continue to operate, just proceed as
described in the paragraph “Safety Cap”
This appliance is equipped with a patented safety cap which prevents the boiler being opened
even accidentally, as long as there is minimum pressure inside. Therefore, to be able to unscrew it,
it is necessary to perform specific operations which are described below:
Every time the water is depleted, proceed as follows:
♦ Turn off the general switch (1)
♦ Discharge the remaining pressure by pressing the steam button (A5) on the handle.
♦ Unplug from the mains electricity.
♦ Unscrew the safety cap (7) anticlockwise.
♦ Wait a few minutes to allow the boiler to cool.
♦ Refill it proceeding as described in paragraph 2.A. When filling the boiler when it is hot, we re-
commend adding small amounts of water, in order to avoid it evaporating instantly.
Not complying with this procedure can expose you to the risk of burns.
