Operation Manual

NOTE: the pressure light (E) turns on and off during
use. This indicates that the electric resistance is
operating to keep constant pressure and is therefo-
re quite normal.
ATTENTION: if pressing the steam request lever
(1A) when the appliance is still pressurised,
even if off and disconnected from the mains,
steam may in any case be released from the
flexible hose. As such, before turning the
appliance off and putting it away, please first
press the lever (1A) until the steam flow ceases.
ADJUSTMENT STEAM
Vaporetto enables the flow of steam desired to be
optimised by turning the adjustment knob (G) (Fig.
5). To increase the flow turn the dial anti-clockwise.
Turning it in a clockwise direction reduces the flow.
Here are some tips for regulating it:
Strong steam: to remove scaling, stains, grease
and to sanitise;
Normal steam: for carpets, rugs, glass, floors;
Gentle steam: to steam plants, clean delicate
fabrics, wall coverings, sofas, etc.
USING THE ACCESSORIES
To attach the extension hoses (2), brush (3) and
the adapter (4) to the handle, simply insert one
into the other and push until you hear the click
indicating that the accessory block button is in
place (1D) (Fig. 7).
To release the accessory, just hold the button
down (1D) and separate the components (Fig. 7).
Before using the accessories check that they
firmly connected.
ATTENTION: to connect accessories (5-6-7-8-9-10-
11) the adaptor must be attached first (4).
Once the reducer is attached, connected the acces-
sory chosen, aligning the arrows on them (Fig. 11),
then turn it clockwise (Fig. 12).
SAFETY CAP / LACK OF WATER
This appliance is equipped with a safety cap which
prevents the boiler being opened even accidentally,
until minimum pressure is reached inside. This is
indicated by a safety peg located on the cap which,
when it comes out of the cap (Fig. A), indicates that
there is still pressure inside the appliance. When it
goes back completely into the cap (Fig. B), it indi-
cates that there is no longer pressure in the
appliance.
ATTENTION - Risk of burns:
Never force the cap open and never operate on
the safety peg if the appliance is still on and
connected to the mains or if it is still hot
Every time you want to open the safety cap, pro-
ceed as follows:
Switch off the appliance using the ON/OFF swit-
ch (C).
Unplug from the mains electricity (N).
Dispense steam until it is gone, using the steam
control lever (1A) on the steam gun (1C).
Wait a few minutes to allow the boiler to cool.
Unscrew the safety cap (A) anticlockwise.
Refill it by following the description in Point 1 of
the PREPARATION paragraph.
WARNING: Not complying with this procedure
can expose you to the risk of burns.
ACCESSORY HOLDER BASE
WITH WHEELS
In the Vaporetto GO, the smaller accessories are
housed in the base (M). In order to access them,
press the lever (O) (Fig. 8) and at the same time lift
the upper part of the equipment.
PRECAUTIONS FOR DELICATE
SURFACES
Before treating leather, special fabrics and wood
surfaces, consult the manufacturer’s instructions
and always carry out a test on a hidden part or
on a sample of the material. Allow the steamed
part to dry to make sure that no changes in co-
lour or deformations have occurred.
Please pay careful attention when cleaning woo-
den and treated terracotta flooring as prolonged
use of steam may damage the wax, polish or co-
lour of the surfaces to be cleaned. We therefore
recommend adjustment the steam to minimum (if
your appliance has steam adjustment) and never
direct the jet of steam directly on the surface, but
