PREPARATION FOR USE 1.1 Place the boiler on a firm, flat and heat-resistant surface. 1.2 Remove the self-filling tank lid (1) and fill the tank with about 1.2l of water, making sure that it does not overflow. This operation must always be carried with the power cable disconnected from the mains.

When the water in the tank has been used up, a prolonged noise will be heard from the self-filling system pump and the steam will stop flowing. To resume use, simply: - switch off and disconnect the Vaporella. - fill the tank as described in Chapter 1. - connect and turn the Vaporella back on. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION If water comes out from the Iron soleplate instead of steam The pressure values have not been reached Check that the ready steam lamp is OFF indicating that the Vaporella has reached the right pressure Wait until the required temperature and pressure are reached as shown by the indicator lights. Adjust the temperature knob on the iron to the medium/maximum vaue.
