This is a preventive against scale build-up and protects the metal walls of the boiler. KALSTOP is available from Polti dealers or from your Polti Service Centre. Do not use demineralised water alone, but mix it with tap water as described above. Never use distilled water or scented water.

Switch on the boiler and iron by pressing the switches (2) and (3). The pressure indicator light (5) will light up (fig. 6). The sound emitted on switching on your appliance and periodically during use, is due to the water refilling system and is quite normal.

Rotating the knob counter-clockwise the steam jet increases. Decrease the steam by rotating the steam control clockwise (fig.10) FILLING THE BOILER Thanks to the self-filling function, there is no longer any need to stop and wait to fill up the boiler again.
