Hold down the suction button (A4) to select the appropriate speed for the surface to be cleaned. As suction power increases, the number of indicator segments lit up will increase (8C); as suction power deceases the number of segments will decrease.

In either case, if the water in the filter is very dirty, replace it as described in the section on “Emptying and cleaning the dirt container”. Note: a possible change in colour of the liquid does not alter the functional character and the efficiency of the product. Do not swallow. Keep out of the reach of children.

Separate all the components and rinse them in running water. (If the filtering sponge is torn, replace it; you may purchase a replacement from an authorised Polti Service Centre). If you wish to continue working, refill the container with water.

Wait 24 hours before putting the filter back into the appliance. • Replace the filter if it is torn. • Clean the filter every 4 months. • To position the Hepa filter (17) correctly, make sure that it is inside its housing (19) and is locked in place by the lever (18) (Fig.14). IMPORTANT: • Do not clean the filter with the brush as this could damage it and decrease its filtering capacity.
