ENGLISH ESPAÑOL CONNECTING THE SPEAKERS TO THE SYSTEM – GENERAL PUNTOS GENERALES PARA CONECTAR LAS BOCINAS AL SISTEMA Use two-conductor 16 gauge or thicker speaker wires. Measure enough wire to reach from your receiver or amp to the speaker. Keep in mind the extra length needed for running the wire around doors and windows. Leave yourself about 12" of extra slack to allow moving the speakers or receiver without having to disconnect the wires.

ENGLISH ESPAÑOL HOOK-UP OPTIONS OPCIONES PARA ENTRELAZAR LOS COMPONENTES OPTION #1 OPCIÓN #1 This is the recommended hook-up option for most systems, particularly those receiverbased systems that do not have center channel pre-amp output jacks. In this method, the subwoofers are fed signal by the speaker level outputs of your amp or receiver. This method is very easy to connect, is less susceptible to hum and noise and provides high performance sound.

Remove the flat metal connecting straps by loosening all four binding posts. Store the straps in a safe place for future use.

ENGLISH ESPAÑOL AC POWER CORRIENTE ALTERNA The CS1000p has a built-in power amplifier and must be plugged into a standard household AC power source in order to operate. All CS1000p’s are multi-voltage units that may be switched to either 110-120 volt or 220240 volt operation. CS1000p loudspeakers sold within North America are preset at the factory for 110-120 volt AC current. CS1000p loudspeakers sold outside of North America are preset at the factory for 220-240 volt operation.

ENGLISH ESPAÑOL SUBWOOFER ADJUSTMENT The crossover frequency of the built-in powered subwoofer is fixed and optimized for the CS1000p.
