Changing the LCD Display
The type of information shown on the LCD display can be changed using the
button.
Press the button repeatedly to change the LCD display from one type
to another.
In Record Mode, the LCD display can be changed into any of the following:
• Basic - includes items 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 15, 25 & 26 as described on pages
21 & 22.
• Full - includes “Basic” settings and 12, 13, 14, 22, 23, 24 & 27 as
listed on pages 21 & 22.
• None - only item 2 & 15 from pages 21 & 22.
• Guideline - used to help you align your subject for still images or video.
• Help screen - calls out functions/features of the camera buttons
NOTE:
The OSD information may vary depending on the record mode type.
The following icons, if enabled, are still displayed on the LCD even when the
OSD is off or Guide lines are on: AEB, Face tracking, AF lamp, Drive mode, and
Macro.
Using the “Guide Lines” allows you to better align or center your subject for
taking pictures.
In Playback mode, the LCD display can be changed into any of the following:
• Basic - includes items 1, 5, 7, 10 as listed on page 24.
• Full - includes “Basic” info and 8 listed on page 24.
• None
• Help screen - calls out functions/features of the camera buttons
NOTE:
LCD display cannot be changed for the following situations:
Manual exposure mode
Recording video or audio clips
Playing video or audio clips
Playing slideshow
