Sleep mode
To help save battery
power, your digital
camera automatically
shuts off after
approximately thirty
seconds of inactivity.
This is called sleep mode.
In sleep mode, the
camera LCD display
turns off and the power
indicator light (a) blinks
every five seconds.
Press the shutter button while the camera is in sleep mode to turn on
the camera. The LCD display turns on and the power indicator light
(a) displays green.
Note: If you don’t use your digital camera after
approximately three minutes of sleep mode, all power is
shut off. Turn the power switch (b) off and then back to the
on position to restore power.
