The following icons appear on the LCD screen and indicate the selected menu options and
camera status.

Displays the current mode.

Macro Indicator
Record Indicator
 Standby Mode: Macro Indicator is displayed.
OFF: Macro Mode OFF (normal image capture)
ON: Macro Mode ON (close up image capture)
 Record Mode: Replaces the Video Capture Mode
icon and Macro icon. The ‘REC’ icon blinks
and the elapsed recording time appears while the
video is being recorded.

Video Counter
 Standby Mode: Not displayed.
 Record Mode: Displays the elapsed recording
time (in red) as the video is being captured.
