Instructions

Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is ickering light, leaking
smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises, or discolouration of the product or
to adjacent surfaces)
- the product was stored for a longer period of time in unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
For safety reasons, unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket before cleaning
the product or when the product is not to be used for a while (e.g., during storage).
Installation and start-up
a) Installing the LED strip
The LED strip can be mounted on suitable surfaces, such as furniture or similar objects, using the adhesive
tape located on the bottom side.
The LED strip must be mounted in such a way that it is not exposed to mechanical stress. It may
not be mounted in such a way that someone can step on it; that will damage it. Protect the LED
strip and the connection cable from sharp edges.
Carefully clean the surface onto which you want to mount the LED strip from dust, dirt and grease before
mounting; otherwise the adhesive tape will come off the surface.
Remove part of the protective strip and stick the LED strip onto the mounting surface one section at a time.
However, do not use force when pressing down.
b) Connection of the power adapter
Connect the low-voltage plug of the plug-in power supply to the corresponding socket of the LED strip.
Plug the power adapter into a proper mains outlet of the public supply grid.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any reason.
The built-in LED bulbs are permanently installed; they cannot be replaced.
Before you clean the product, disconnect it from the mains voltage. Pull the power adapter from the mains
socket.
The outside of the product should only be cleaned with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions for this could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair the operation.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste.
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory
requirements.
