b) LED light
• Warning, LED light:
- Do not look directly at the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The LED light bulbs are rmly embedded and cannot be replaced.
c) Location
• The product has an IP65 rating and can be mounted and operated indoors/
outdoors. It is protected from dust ingress and low pressure water jets from any
direction.
• The choice of an unsuitable installation location can lead to personal injury or
material damage! Mount the product to a horizontal surface only. The surface for
installation should be dry, clean, at, stable and free from debris.
• Do not position the device near high temperature sources. For example, hot
ventilation ducts, air conditioning units, etc.
• Protect the product from salt water (e.g. road salt in wintertime) to prevent
corrosion.
• Position the product where it will not be affected by falling objects or animals.
• The product is suitable for use in unprotected areas. It must however not be used
in or under water and in areas prone to ooding. The same applies to areas (e.g.
troughs), in which rainwater can collect. This poses a risk of fatal electric shock!
• Risk of electric shock. Do not install near a pool, spa or water fountain. When
mounting the product, take into consideration the routing of the mains cable.
• This product is not explosion-proof. Never use the product in rooms which contain
or may contain ammable gases, vapors or combustible dusts! There is a risk of
explosion!
d) Installation
• Installation of the product must be carried out by a qualied professional (i.e. an
electrician) who is familiar with all applicable regulations! Improper handling of
mains voltage will endanger yourself and others!
• Do not hang or secure any objects (e.g. decorations) to the xture.
• The xture should not be installed onto normally ammable surfaces.
• Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
when using the product in industrial facilities.
• Only use a suitable, xed mains cable for power supply.
• A suitable switch is required for turning the product on and off.
• When drilling or tightening screws, make sure there are no cables, wires or pipes
located underneath the surface. Inadvertently drilling through electric cables can
cause life-threatening danger of an electric shock!
• The light must be protected with a 10/16A fuse at the sub-distribution. An earth
leakage circuit breaker must be installed before this.
• Isolate all poles of the mains cable from the mains supply by removing the electric
circuit fuse or switching off the automatic fuse. Then turn off the earth leakage
circuit breaker.

Intended Use
This product is suitable for outdoor installation (protection type IP65) and is intended to light
patios, entrance areas, etc. It will emit a warm white (3000 K) light.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in short circuits, res, electric shocks or other hazards. Read
the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

a) General Information

• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts,
ammable gases, steam and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• Maintenance, modications and repairs must only be completed by a technician
or an authorised repair centre.
