Instructions

Preparing for installation
Switch the electricity supply, corresponding
circuit breaker and/or automatic fuse OFF.
Secure against unauthorized restart, e.g. by
installing a warning sign.
Check the power circuit for any remaining
voltage using an appropriate testing device.
Installation
Read the information in section “Safety instructions”.

Remove the outer insulation on the wires to a
maximum length of about 16 mm.
Strip the insulation on each of the three wires on the
mains cable to a length of about 6 mm.
The protective earth cable (yellow-green) should be
at least 6 mm longer so that it remains the last cable
in the terminal strip in the event of a mishap.
Unscrew the wall mount lock (2) using the supplied hex key to release the wall bracket
(10).
Use the holes in the wall bracket (10) as a template to mark the wall mounting points.
Drill the mounting holes using a ø6mm drill bit, then insert the wall plugs (11) if needed.
Secure the wall bracket using the four self-tapping screws (9).
Depending on the surface material, different screws and dowels may be required.
IP65 Ingress protection warning. The
rubber cable gasket (6) should form a good
seal around the power supply lead to stop
moisture seeping into the junction box.
Remove the junction box cover (8).
Feed the mains cable through the gasket (6).
Connect the 3 wires on the mains cable to the
3-pole screw terminal (brown wire= L/phase, blue
wire = N/neutral wire, yellow/green wire = PE/earth
wire/earth symbol ).
Tighten the cable clamp (3) over the cable to prevent
it from being pulled out.
Check the other screw connections on the terminal
strip and tighten them if necessary.
IP65 Ingress protection warning. Make sure
the O-rings around the junction box screws
(7) and gasket around the junction box are in
place.
Replace and lock the junction box cover (8) using the
four screws.
Do not over tighten screws as this may cause
damage.

Tidy the wires and mount the lamp (1) onto the wall bracket (10).
To lock the lamp (1) to the wall bracket (10), rst hook into the bottom clip then move the
xture upward and gently press into the top clip.
Screw the wall mount lock (2) over the top clip using the supplied hex key.
Make sure the lamp is securely held in place before letting go.
Turn the corresponding circuit breaker and/
or automatic fuse back ON.
If the light switch is on and the lamp does not light up,
turn OFF power to the circuit immediately.
Turn OFF the circuit breaker and/or automatic fuse.
Check the connection to the power circuit.
Care and Cleaning
Turn off mains voltage to the light (or disconnect it from the mains) and let it cool down
sufciently.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.

slightly with water.
This product has an IP65 rating and can be sprayed clean using a fresh water hose.
Never point a water jet, for example such of high-pressure cleaning equipment, at the lamp,
as that could damage the seals!
