Operation
The product must not be used in or under water.
Do not operate the product if it is still in its packaging.
Do not hang any objects from the product and do not
cover the product.
The LEDs are not replaceable.
1. Remove the product from the packaging.
2. Hold the candle and turn the candle head anticlockwise to
open the battery compartment.
3. Insert one AA battery into the candle, ensuring that you
insert the negative pole (-) first. We recommend using high-
quality batteries.
4. Check that the seal (10) is in the correct position on the
screw cap of the candle head.
5. Turn the candle head clockwise as far as it will go to close the
battery compartment.
6. Ensure that the candle is in a secure position in the candle
holder.
7. Follow steps 2 to 5 to put all the other candles into operation.
8. Attach the candles, for example, to your Christmas tree.
Ensure stability when clamping the candles onto branches of
the tree.
9. Use the remote control to control the candles (see “Remote
control”).
10. Turn off the candles using the remote control and then
remove the batteries when not using the candles for a longer
period of time.
Replace the battery if the LED does not turn on.
Remote control
Pull the safety strip from the battery compartment (6) of the
remote control before first time use.
Ensure that there are no objects between the IR transmitter (1)
and the candles.
If the candles do not turn on at the same time, move closer to
the candles and ensure that the remote control is pointing in
the right direction.
The operating range of the remote control depends on the
ambient conditions and the battery capacity.
Replacing the battery is required when the operating range of
the remote control drops significantly or if the candles cannot
be operated when pressing any button.
Remove the battery holder from the battery compartment (6)
as shown on the back of the remote control, and then remove
the old battery.
Insert a coin cell battery of type CR2025 into the battery holder,
making sure the positive terminal (“+” marking on the battery)
faces up.
Slide the battery holder back into the battery compartment
until it clicks into place.
