b) Product
• Place the product in a location where nobody can trip over it. Risk of injury!
• The bulb used in the product is permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
• The product generates heat during use. Never cover the product during use.
• Shield the product from strong winds and storms. Install the product at a location
shielded from wind if possible.
c) Rechargeable battery
• Ensure that the rechargeable battery is inserted in the correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• To prevent battery leakage, remove the battery when you do not plan to use the
product for an extended period. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause acid
burns when they come into contact with skin. Therefore use suitable protective
gloves to handle corrupted rechargeable batteries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as
they constitute a choking hazard for children and pets.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into re. Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as this poses a risk of explosion!

Operation
Before using for the rst time, remove the protective lm from the rechargeable battery
compartment. The battery compartment is located in the lamp head (1) under the solar unit.
Then charge the rechargeable battery completely. The charging time is approx. 8 hours in
direct sunlight.

• Remove the metal cover (2) from the lamp head (1) by slightly turning the metal cover counter
clockwise. See the above gure.
• Remove the protective battery lm from the battery compartment to ensure battery contact.
• Turn the metal cover clockwise to attach it.
• Put together the stand (3), as shown in the above gure.
• Then insert the socket beneath the metal cover into the stand.

Intended Use
The product is used for decorative lighting in outdoor areas, such as in the garden or on the
terrace. Power is provided via a rechargeable battery, which charges during the day via the
built-in solar panel. The light switches on automatically in the dark.
The product is splash-proof and therefore suitable for outdoor use (IP44).
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or re. Read the instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.

a) General information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous toy for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, impacts, ammable gases,
vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorized use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
