b) Product
Caution! The lamp head only inserts into the wall holder. Hold the lamp with only
the lamp head pointing upwards on the wall holder. Otherwise, the lamp head may
fall. This will damage the product.
The bulb used in the product is permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
The product generates heat during use. Never cover the product during use.
Shield the product from strong winds and storms. Install the product at a location
shielded from wind if possible.
c) Rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery is built into the product. It cannot be replaced.

Installation and Start-up
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are damaged when
drilling mounting holes or securing screws.
Refer to the gures during installation.
Always mount the lamp in an upright position. Never hold the
lamp upside down, as the lamp head (2) may come loose from the
holder (4) and fall.
Lift the lamp head out of the holder and set the on/off switch (3)
to ON.
Use a level to mark the bore holes for the wall lamp (Item no.
1645721).
Use wall plugs and screws suitable for the structure of the wall and
oor. To use the provided wall anchors, use a Ø 5 mm drill (Item no.
1645721) or Ø 7 mm (Item no. 1645725). Drill the holes in the wall
and insert the wall anchors.
Attach the lamp with the screws in an upright position. Use a suitable
screwdriver.
The battery needs to be fully charged prior to rst time use. The
charging time is approx. 8 hours in direct sunlight.
When the PIR sensor (5) detects motion, the lamp switches briey to
a brighter level (approx. 400 lm). After approx. 25 seconds, the lamp
switches back to energy-saving mode (approx. 75 lm).
You can switch off the lamp if you do not want it to turn on at dark.
Lift the lamp head out of the holder and set the on/off switch to OFF.

Setup location
The more sunlight that falls onto the solar panel (1), the more complete the rechargeable
battery charge will be. To allow the rechargeable battery to be charged sufciently, the
product must be placed so that it is exposed to direct sunlight for as long as possible. Ensure
that the product is not covered or shaded.
Do not place the product next to other light sources, e.g. patio or street lights, as this may
prevent the product from turning on automatically in the dark.
The product is suitable for use in unprotected outdoor areas. However, the product must
never be used in or under water.
The product turns at dusk (< 30 lux). As soon as a certain brightness (> 30 lux) is reached,
the product turns off.

Intended use
The product is intended to provide outdoor lighting. The product is equipped with 20 LEDs and
a PIR (passive infrared) motion detector. When the product detects motion, the lamp switches
briey to a brighter level. Power is provided via a rechargeable battery, which charges during
the day via the built-in solar panel. The light switches on automatically in the dark.
The product is splash-proof and therefore suitable for outdoor use (IP44).
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or re. Read the instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.

a) General information
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous toy for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, impacts, ammable gases,
vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
Warning, LED light:
- Do not look directly at the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.
Maintenance, modications and repairs must be done by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
