Never point a garden hose at the product.
The product must not be used in or under water.
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation generated could destroy the product.
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualied shop.
If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.
Attention, LED light:
- Do not look directly into the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
The LEDs are permanently installed and non-replaceable.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the (rechargeable) battery.
Never replace the (rechargeable) batteries with wet or moist hands.
The (rechargeable) batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long
period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged (rechargeable) batteries
might cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to
handle corrupted (rechargeable) batteries.
(Rechargeable) batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave (rechargeable)
batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
All (rechargeable) batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new
(rechargeable) batteries in the device can lead to (rechargeable) battery leakage and device
damage.
Rechargeable batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into re. Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery
might cause an explosion or a re!

Hanging/Setting up
Use the hook (9) to hang the product only.
The product can be hung up using the hook.
Fold open the hook (see illustration at right).
Hook the
smaller side of the hook under the
handle (1) and hang the larger side of the hook
on a tent pole, etc. Both ends of the hook rotate
360°.
You may also hang up the product using the
base hook (5). To do so, fold open the base
hook from its attachment and hang up the
product upside down.
To set up the light, carefully fold the base hook
back to its original position. Place the product on a horizontal, stable surface.
Charging the rechargeable battery
Never discharge the battery completely, as this could reduce the lifespan of the
rechargeable battery. After running in battery mode, recharge the rechargeable battery as
soon as possible and do not store the camping lantern with an empty battery for long
periods of time. If not using the device for a longer period of time, fully charge the battery,
and later charge it every 1-2 months.

Intended use
The product is intended for use as a light source independent of the mains voltage, e.g. for camping. The
product offers 3 lighting modes and a ickering mode for nighttime adventures. The light in lighting modes
1 to 3 is steplessly dimmable. Use the provided hook to hang up the camping light. The rechargeable battery
serves not only as a power supply for the lamp but can also be used to charge your USB device via the
camping lantern’s USB output in case of emergency.
The product features an IP68 design and is suitable for outdoor use when the battery compartment lid and
protective covering are rmly closed.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

a) General
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, ammable gases, vapours and
solvents. Shield the product from dust and dirt.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected
to the product.
Make sure the Micro-USB cable connected to the product is not pinched, bent, damaged by
sharp edges or subjected to other mechanical stress. Avoid unnecessary thermal load to the
Micro-USB cable such as via excessive heat or cold.
Shield the Micro-USB cable and USB ports with protective covering open from high moisture
and wet conditions.
Before connection or charging via the USB port, make sure the connection values on the
product’s rating plate comply with those of the USB port’s USB power supply.
Do not use force to connect USB plugs. USB plugs can be plugged into a USB socket only
one way.
Do not use the product during charging.
Do not use both USB ports on the back of the product at the same time. Charge either the
product or the USB device you wish to charge.
