Operation 
The product must not be used in or under water.
Do not operate the product if it is still in its packaging.
Do not hang any objects from the product and do not 
cover the product.
Do not place the product near sources of heat such as 
chimneys or stoves.
The LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable.
1.  Remove the product from the packaging. Remove the 
protective film.
2.  Place the product on a dry, horizontal surface, e.g. a table, 
window ledge, etc.
3.  Remove the battery compartment cover.
4.  Insert two new AA-batteries. We recommend using high 
quality batteries. Observe the correct polarity (“+” = positive, 
“-“ = negative), as stated inside the battery compartment.
5.  Insert the battery compartment cover. 
6.  Turn the product on or o using the switch at the bottom of 
the product (On = On, O = O).
7.  The product features a timer. After you turn the product 
on, it will stay on for approx. 5 hours and then switch o 
automatically. The product will turn on again 19 hours later. 
Example: Slide the on/o switch to the Timer position at 
3pm. The product will stay on from 3pm to 8pm and then 
switch o automatically. It will turn itself on again at 3pm on 
the following day. This interval will be repeated provided that 
the on/o switch is in the Timer position and the batteries 
are not empty.
8.  Turn o the product and remove the batteries for extended 
periods of disuse.
Replacing the batteries
Replace the batteries when the LED no longer lights up.
• Make sure that the on/o switch is O before opening the 
battery compartment.
• Remove the battery compartment cover.
• Remove the exhausted batteries.
• Insert two new AA-batteries. We recommend using high quality 
batteries. Observe the correct polarity (“+” = positive, “-“ = 
negative), as stated inside the battery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment. Make sure the cover clicks 
audibly into place. 
Care and cleaning
• Turn o the product and let it cool down suciently before 
cleaning.
• Remove the batteries before cleaning.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents, 
cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, as the material can 
be attacked as a result, or the function can even be impaired.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. Do not pinch the 
real wax too hard, as this can lead to scratch marks.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not 
be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of its 
service life, dispose of the product according to the 
relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them 
separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery 
Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposing of 
them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labelled with this symbol 
to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The 
designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, 
Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on batteries, e.g. below the trash 
icon on the left). 
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your 
municipality, our stores or wherever batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the 
protection of the environment.
