ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD)
Press the top of the rocker switch to engage All Wheel Drive (AWD). Once
enabled, the AWD remains enabled until the switch is turned off.
The AWD switch may be turned on or off while the vehicle is moving. When the
AWD switch is on, the front gearcase will automatically engage any time the rear
wheels lose traction. When the rear wheels regain traction, the front gearcase
will automatically disengage.
Engage the AWD before getting into conditions where front wheel drive may be
needed. If the rear wheels are spinning, release the accelerator before switching
to AWD.

TIP
AWD will not engage initially until speed is less than 8 km/h (5 MPH).
NOTICE
Switching to AWD while the rear wheels are spinning may cause severe drive
train damage. Always switch to AWD while the rear wheels have traction or are
at rest.
