Periodic Maintenance Chart
Perform these procedures more often for vehicles subjected to severe use.

Drive belt 50 H 6 M - Inspect; adjust; replace as needed
Cooling system (if applicable) 50 H 6 M - Inspect coolant strength seasonally;
pressure test system yearly
Park brake cable tension 100 H 6 M - Check tension, adjust
Engine oil change 100 H 6 M - Perform a break-in oil change at one
month
Oil filter change 100 H 6 M - Replace with oil change

Fuel system 100 H 12 M - Check for leaks at tank cap, lines, fuel
valve, filter, pump, throttle body; replace
lines every two years
Radiator (if applicable) 100 H 12 M - Inspect; clean external surfaces
Cooling Hoses (if applicable) 100 H 12 M - Inspect for leaks
Engine mounts 100 H 12 M - Inspect
Exhaust muffler/pipe 100 H 12 M - Inspect

Spark plug 100 H 12 M - Inspect; replace as needed
Ignition timing 100 H 12 M - Inspect
Wiring 100 H 12 M - Inspect for wear, routing, security; apply
dielectric grease to connectors sub-
jected to water, mud, etc.
Clutches (drive and driven) 100 H 12 M - Inspect; clean; replace worn parts
Front wheel bearings 100 H 12 M - Inspect; replace as needed
Brake fluid 200 H 24 M - Change every two years
Spark arrester 300 H 36 M - Clean out
Idle speed - Adjust as needed
Toe adjustment - Inspect periodically; adjust when parts
are replaced
Auxiliary brake (if equipped) - Inspect daily; adjust as needed
Headlight aim - Adjust as needed
