Throttle Stop Speed Control System
The speed control system has
two options for limiting speed.
Adjusting the speed limit screw
allows you to control vehicle
speed between 0 and 30 MPH
(48 km/h). This adjustment
controls how far the throttle
opens. To remove the speed
limiting entirely and allow
operation up to the maximum
vehicle speed of 38 MPH (61
km/h), the speed limit bracket
can be removed.
1. To adjust the speed limit
screw, loosen the jam nut.
2. Turn the screw inward to
reduce the speed. Turn the
screw outward to increase
speed up to the 30 MPH (48
km/h) maximum. The
throttle lever will stop
against the speed control
bracket at the maximum
setting.
3. Tighten the jam nut after
adjusting.
4. To allow the vehicle to
operate to the maximum of
38 MPH (61 km/h), remove
the bracket fastener on the
throttle assembly and
remove the bracket.
