SAFETY
Safety Labels and Locations
Warning labels have been placed on the snowmobile for your protection.
Read and follow the instructions of the labels and other warnings on the
snowmobile carefully. If any of the labels depicted in this manual differ
from the labels on your snowmobile, always read and follow the
instructions of the labels on the snowmobile.
If any label becomes illegible or comes off, contact your POLARIS
dealer to purchase a replacement. Replacement safety labels are
provided by POLARIS at no charge. The part number is printed on the
label.
Clutch Cover Warning
This warning label is found under the hood on the clutch cover:
WARNING
Do not operate engine with hood open.
Do not attempt adjustment with engine running.
Do not operate engine with this guard removed.
Never run engine with drive belt removed.
Never service clutches yourself -- see your dealer.

Pressure Cap Warning
This warning label is found on the pressure cap of applicable liquid
cooled models:
Do not open hot. Test or replace when changing coolant. Press down and turn to
release cap. 13 PSI

No Passenger Warning
Snowmobiles designed for a single rider only have the NO
PASSENGER warning label on the lower center console:
WARNING
This vehicle is designed for operator only. NO PASSENGER

Track Warning
The track warning label is at the rear of the tunnel:
WARNING
Stay clear of track. Do not sit on seat back. Entanglement with the track or a fall
from seat back can result in severe injury or death.
