Texture
Woodgrain — Texture Makes a Dierence
The depth of the woodgrain texture embossed on the panel brings interest to your project.
Finer, shallower grains look like older, real woodsiding, while more defined wood grains look
like freshly painted wood—ideal for newer homes and modern styles.
Thickness — A Measure of Durability
While all Ply Gem vinyl siding is durable and will last for many years, as a general rule,
thicker panels are stier and look more like real wood panels. They also oer greater impact
resistance than thinner panels.
Locking Systems — Security + Strength
Ply Gem Performance Collection Vinyl Siding includes engineered locking systems at the
top and bottom of each panel to connect the panels to each other and secure the siding
to your home. As you choose your siding, keep in mind that premium panels oer more
sophisticated, stronger panel locking systems than lower-cost panels.
Color — Match Your Style
Consider your home’s architectural style as you choose your color—classic styles like
Cape Cod and Colonial look best in more traditional, darker and neutral options, while more
decorative styles like Victorian and French Colonial can support lighter, brighter colors.
