Dulls the edges within an image and decreases the contrast by making
dark edges lighter and light
edges darker.

Sharpen
--
Allows you to sharpen the edges within an image by making the
edges in an image more distinct.
The Sharpen filter also increases contrast by
making dark edges darker and surrounding light edges lighter.

Sharpen More

Adds additional sharpening.

Unsharpen
--
Sharpens the edges in an image to remove the blurriness.
This setting is not available when
Black & White
is selected as Scan Mode.
Page Settings
Clicking
opens the
Page Settings
page.
Flip Page Rotation
When you scan double-sided documents, this setting specifies the rotation
direction of the rear-side pages.

Book
: Outputs both sides of the scanned images without rotation. Choose this
option to scan documents bound on the right or left side
.
·
Fanfold
: Outputs both sides of the scanned images and rotates the rear-side
scanned images 180º. Choose this option to scan documents which front-side
and rear-side pages are printed conversely
.
Tick the check box to enable the function of
Prompt for confirming flip page
rotation method
. After this function is enabled, the dialog page will appear on the
screen for you to select the option.
Auto Rotate
Tick the check box of
Auto Rotate
, the document image you scanned will be
automatically rotated and straightened.
