is Li-x.
3. Low Voltage Protection
Mode(Cut-Off
Mods)r
Soft Cut-Off
(Gradually
reduce the output
power)
or
CuFOff
(lmmediately
stop the
output

Default
is Soft Cut-Off.
4. LowVoltage Proteclion
Threshold(Cut-Off
Threshold)!
Low/
Medium / High, default is Medium.
1) For
lithium
batteries,
the number of battery
cells is
calculated automati€lly. Low / medium
/ high cutoff voltage for
each
cell
is: 2.85V/3.15V/3.3V.
For enmple: For
a 3 cells lithium
pack,
when "Medium" cutoff
thrbshold is
set,
the
cut-off
voltago
will
be:3.1 5.3=9_45V
2)
For
nickel
batteries,
low / medium
/
high
cutoff voltages
are O%t5O%165%
of lhe
startup
voltage
(i.e.
the initial voltage
of
baftery
pack),
and oyo means the low
voltage cut-off
function is disabled. For
example: For a 10
cells N|MH battery, fully
charged
voltage is
1.44"'10='l4.4V,when
"Medium"
cut-off threshold is
set, the
cut-off
voltage will
be:'14.4*5}ok=7.2V"
5.
Startup Mode:
Normal
/Soft
/Super-Sofr,
(300ms
/ 6s / 1 2s), default
is Nomal.
Normal is
prefered
for fixed-wing
aircraft.
Soft or Super-soft
are
preferred
for helicopters. The
initial
accelemtion of the Soft
and
Super-Sofr modes
are slower
in comparison,
usually taking
6 seconds for
Sofr startup or
12
seconds
for Super-Soft startup from
initial throttle advance
to full
thrcttle. lf the thrcttle
is closed
(throttle
stick moved
to bottom) and oponed
again
(thmtue
stick moved
to top) within 3
se@nds
of the initial startup,
the restart-up
will be temporarily
changed to nomal mode
to
get
riri of the
chances of a
crash
caused by slow
throttlo
response. This special
design is
suitable for aerobatic flight when
quick
throftle
response is needed.
6. Tlming: Low
/ Medium
/ High,(
3.75' /15" /26.25'
),detuutt
is
Low. Nofe2
Usually, low timing
or medium
timing is suitable
for most
motoF. ln
ord€r
to
get
higher speed and
bigger output
power,
please
choose High
timing.

we use
the words of
"Top

and
"Bottom
posit:rcn"
to
descrtbe the location of
the
thrcltle stick.
Top Position:
The
thrctlle value
is 10O% at this
position.
Bottom Position:
The
thrcttle value
is ,yo at this
position.
Ptease start up the
ESC in
the following
sequerce:
1. Move throttle
stick
to the
bottom
position
and then switch
on the tEnsmifter.
2. C€nnect battery

the ESC, the
ESC begins
self-test

a special tone
"

is
emitted, which
means the voltiage
of the battery

is in normal
range,
and then N
"beep"
tones will
be emitted, means the number
of lithium

long "beep---'
tone will
be emitted, which
means
self-test is OK,
the aircrafvheli@pter is ready
to
go
flying.

please checkthe battery
pack
and
ail the connections;
o
lf a special
tone

is emitted
afrer 2 beep tones
{"beep-b€F"),seans
the ESC
has entered
the
pmgram

because the
thrcttle
channel of
your
transmitt€r
is reversed,
please
set it corecfly;
.
lf the
very
rapid
"beep-beep-,

means the input voltage is too
low or too high,
please
check
your
battery's voltage.

1. lnput voltage
is
abnomal:
The ESC
begins to check
the voltage
when the battery
pack
is connected,
if the voltage
is not in the
aceptable Enge,
such
an alert
tone will be emitted:
'beep-beep-,
beep-beep-,beep-beep-'
(Every
"beep-beep-'
ha; a time interual
of about 1 second.
)
2. Thrcttle
signal is
abnormal:
When the
ESC €n't detect
the normal
thrcttle signal,
such an alert tone
will be emitted:
"beep-,
beep-,
beep-".
(Every "beepj
has a time
interval of about
2 seconds)
3. Thrcttle stick is
not in
the bottom
position:
When
the throttle
stick is not
in bottom
(lowest)
position,
a very rapid
alert tone will be
emitted:
"beep-,
beep-,
beepJ.
(Every "beep:'
h3" .,'r"
'nterval
of about
0.25 se@nd.)
re
1. Start

fuilure
prot*tion:
lf
the motor fails
to start within
2 seconds
of throttle application, the
ESC will
cutdf the output
powen
ln
this
case, the throttle
stick
MUST
be moved to the
bottom again
to restart the moior
(Such
a situation
happens in
the iollowing
cases: The
connection
between
ESC and
motorjs not reliable,
the
prcpeller
or the motor is blocked,
the
gearbox
is
damaged,-etc.)
2. Over-heat
prctection:
When the
temperature
of the ESC
is over 110
C;bius degrees, the ESC
will redu; the
output
pow6r.
3. Thrcttle signal lcs
protection;
The ESC will reduce
the
output
power
ifthrottle signal is lost for 1
second, further
loss for 2 seconds
will cause its
output
to be
cut-off completely.
