How long does it take to build the steel frame structure?
As a general rule any 1-bedroom design will take up to 3 days and our 2 bedroom ranges up to 7
days and 4 bedrooms up to 10 days. Your structure will come with all the components and frame
panels required to erect it.
Our Kit Homes are easier to construct, all the fasteners/anchors and screws come with the frame
steel structure to erect (instead of nails you will be using screws). All our steel frame kits have the
necessary holes in the frame to make the plumbers and electrical contractor’s job easier. Including
provision for your insulation, thicker walls.
How do I know what is required for my foundation?
With all foundations, it will be based on your soil type and the load bearing of the house on the
foundation and local zone requirements. By going to your local county, they will be able to assist
with this. Alternatively, engaging a skilled and reputable contractor who specializes in different
types of foundations, will have the expertise and answers for your requirements.
Do the Steel frame kits have provisions for the plumbing and electrical
wiring?
Yes, all our steel frame kits, have pre-drilled holes in the frame kit to make it easier and quicker for
your plumber or electrician to feed the wiring or plumbing into.
Can I modify the plans?
Yes, we can! Minor modifications, like changing the rough openings of the windows and doors can
be done, other modifications can be also be done to the design, like changing walls, higher ceilings
etc which will incur an extra cost as it will change the engineering and design will need to be signed
off by our Engineer/Architectural Designer. We can discuss this cost before you purchase by
