using timber framing). What this means for you, is predictability and the comfort in knowing that
our standard openings will suit the greatest variety of door and window openings and other
important inclusions leaving you greater choice. Our process and designs aim not just too please,
but also provide you greater ease and speed of frame assembly as part of your construction project.
Are your plans cyclone/hurricane rated?
Our homes can be engineered to suit any location including cyclonic locations for an additional
price. Our cyclonic rated plans are rated to suit cyclonic up to 110 MPH wind loading, however we
can upgrade our structures to wind speeds of 175 miles per hour.
All of our designs can be altered to suit your requirements. We design, engineer and provide
materials to suit the region where the house will be built. Our designs can be customized to your
local building codes reflecting your local climate and local conditions to give you greater peace of
mind.
What is the process?
We aim to make your experience with Our Kit Homes as easy as possible, with only a few steps
you’ll be soon constructing your dream home. Select your design, make changes to the plan or
completely start fresh, get a final quote, for you to get your county approval, your steel frame kit
will arrive at your door, for you to construct your ADU/ Home/ Building.
At the time of purchase:
1. One of our team will reach out to you and clarify your needs and start the process.
2. You will receive Structurally Engineered Architectural Plans and calculations for the building
(signed/sealed by our Engineer for the building code requirements for your location). Please
note, the foundation will need a locally licensed engineer or foundation professional to provide
their calculations to meet the load bearing requirements of the structure which is included in
the calculation package.
3. You then submit the fully signed off plans to your Building Authority everything while you
home/ADU frame kit goes into production.
4. Delivery is arranged with you and your Contractor (if involved in the process)
5. Confirmation of delivery and quality upon receipt of the kit.
Note, you will also need to source the MEP (mechanical electrical plumbing plans) from locally
licensed contractors (they need to be registered with the local building Department to complete
the works). Please refer to the section on selecting a contractor in these FAQs.
What is included in the kit?
▪ The architectural/engineered structural Plans drawings and calculations for your construction,
signed off by an Engineer for your county/location.
