Installation Instructions:
* Use with Cable Drive Sch. 40 PVC
Rough-In Kit 679-3671 (sold separately)
Includes:
(1) Overflow control cover with set screw
(1) Stopper
(1) Shoe strainer
Tools Required For Installation:
- Wrench
- Sealant
- Screwdriver
1. Make sure overflow lock plate (C) and overflow locknut (D)
are assembled through tub as shown.
(These parts come with Cable Drive Rough-in Kit - 679-3671.)
2. Position shoe elbow assembly (H) under the drain, be sure
rubber washer (I) is positioned correctly under the tub.
3. Place sealant under flange of shoe strainer (J) and assemble with shoe strainer
locknut (K). Tighten down locknut. (Do not use plumbers putty on marble or plastic surfaces,
instead use silicone sealant)
4. Tighten all connections.
5. Attach overflow control cover (E) to overflow assembly with set screw (F).
Make sure set screw (F) is against flat portion of control stem (S).
6. Drop stopper (L) into center of shoe strainer locknut (K) and adjust height as needed.
Water test the entire installation by filling up tub with water up to overflow opening
and check for leakage.
Care Instructions:
To clean, wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners,
steel wool, and harsh chemicals as these may damage the finish.
