Assembly (Steps 6-9)

6. Apply thread seal tape onto the threads of the water supply shut

off valves in a clockwise motion. Attach the remaining ends of the

water supply lines to the hot and cold shut-off valves and tighten

with a wrench.

9. After the faucet connections has been checked for leaks, run hot

and cold water uninterrupted for about one minute to remove any

residue from the lines. Replace and tighten the aerator.

7. Before turning the water on, unscrew and remove the aerator (13)

from the faucet spout. If necessary, use pliers and a cloth to

protect the finish of the faucet.

8. Open the hot and cold water supply valves. Check for leaks at

the shut off valves and the faucet shanks. If leaks occur, tighten

the nuts on the water supply lines and shut off valve.
