Troubleshooting
If a faucet installation doesn’t deliver water properly or leaks, finding the cause and fixing it can be easy.
Water leaks
from supply
lines (not
included).
Damaged or worn
water supply lines
or loose supply
line connections.
Problem: Cause: Action:
Check the water supply line connections
at the shut-off valve and the copper supply
lines for any leaks.
Tighten the nuts slightly on the supply lines
with a wrench. Don’t overtighten any supply
line connections. Tighten the copper supply
line connections using two wrenches. Place
the first wrench on the faucet shank to hold
it in place while tightening the supply line
with the second wrench. This will prevent any
twisting of the copper tubing.NEVER install
used supply lines when installing a new faucet.
ALWAYS use new supply lines.
Uneven
water flow.

with a wrench. Use
a cloth to protect the

Remove the aerator
by turning it counter-

Remove any loose
dirt or debris from
the aerator assembly.
Replace the aerator
on the faucet. Wrench
tighten by turning
it clockwise.

neath the

Damaged or loose
adjustment ring (4).
Problem: Cause: Action:
Remove the hot/cold
button (1) from the
handle (3).
Use an allen wrench
to loosen the handle
screw (2) on the
faucet handle (3).
Remove the handle
(3) from the faucet.
Using a faucet repair
tool, tighten the
adjustment ring (4) by
turning clockwise. If
