18. Place the pop-up rod (25) through hole in the faucet and guide it
through the holes on the lift rod strap (33). Lightly tighten the set
screw (31) on the lift rod strap (see figure D).
NOTE: Be sure that there is enough room to lift the pop-up rod
up and down to open and close the plunger.
17. Slide the pivot rod nut (29) onto the pivot rod (30) and thread the
pivot nut onto the drain body (see figure C). Tighten firmly but do
not overtighten.
16. Place the pivot rod (30) into the opening in the drain body (26),
making sure that the rod enters the opening at the bottom of
the plunger (34, see figure A). NOTE: Make sure that the pivot
rod seal (37) is seated inside the drain body (28, see figure B).

19. With the pivot rod (30) in the down position, guide the pivot rod
through the nearest hole on the lift rod strap (33). Make sure that
the pivot rod remains in the down position. Once it is aligned
properly, tighten the set screw on the lift rod strap.

20. Secure the pivot rod (30) onto the lift rod strap (33) with the
spring clip (32). Adjust the height of the pop-up rod by adjusting
the set screw (31) and raising or lowering the lift rod strap (33).
