TURN ON SAFELY Do not turn on the phone when wireless phone is prohibited or when it may cause interferenc e or dan ger. ROAD SAFETY Obey all road safety laws. 3. Getting started Installing the SIM card(s) and the Micro SD card The line schematic diagram is noted h ow to install SIM card and th e Micro SD card. ATTENTION: 1) To insert the SIM card and Micro SD card, please make sure you r phone is Power off, then r emove the cover, batt ery and other ext erna l power conn ection, as shown in the image. 2) Insert SIM card a nd me mory ca rd into card slot as the ab ove drawings. 3) Push the SIM card into the slot until it fixed.
Charging the Battery The lithium battery delivered with the mobile phone ca n be put into use immediately after being unpac ked. Your mobile phone can monitor and display the battery state. Nor mally the re maining energy of the battery is indicated by the battery level icon at the upper right c orner of the display screen. When the battery energy is insufficient, the mobile phone prompts "Battery low".
Immediate ly stop using the battery if the battery produces odor, overheats, cracks, distorts or has other d ama ge, or if the electrolyte le aks. The battery wears out with use. A longer charging time is required as the battery is put into use for a lon g time. 4. Input method This mobile phone provides multiple input methods, including English input in both upper and lower case, French, Spanish, Portuguese and numeric input method.
7. Messages You can send and r eceive text / MM S message. If the short message memory is full, a blinking message icon appe ars on the t op of th e screen. While entering the Messaging interf ace, you will see the following menu options: Write message, Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent Items. Settings Phone Settings Time and date: set home city, set time and date, set format, update with time zon e. Langua ge Settings: You r mobile ph one supp orts with English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Shortcut settings: Cust omize the shortcut functions of the Up, Down, Left and Right direction keys.
Security Settings This function provides you with related settings about safety use. SIM security PIN lock : The PIN (Personal identification number, 4 to 8 digits) code prevents your SIM card fr om being used by unauthorized p eople. Modify PIN: In general, the PIN is supplied with SIM card by the network ope rator. If PIN check is enabled, you need to input the PIN each time when you power on your mobile phone. The SIM card will be locked if you input wrong PIN cod e for th ree times.
For other op eration systems, the connection between PC and th e mobile phone c annot be c onducted unless USB driver is installed. 16.
