20 | Thermostatic radiator valve
Control
Control via the app or Lisa
You control the thermostatic radiator valve
via Adam HA or another Zigbee gateway.
Via the app or web interface of the gateway
you can set the temperature for each zone,
and the radiator valve is set for you.
Button actions
The thermostatic radiator valve contains
one push button, which you can use for
multiple functionalities if needed, also see
page 19. The LED located at the button
gives you feedback. The LED will ash red
every second the button is pressed. This
helps counting the seconds.
If Tom is congured with batteries it
behaves like an “End Device”. The LED
indications described as “solid” will
now blink shortly every second.
Remove the thermostatic radiator valve
from the network
• Press the button for 3 seconds and
release.
• Within 1 second, press again the
button for 3 seconds and release.
• Within 1 second, press the button for
10 seconds and release.
After you have released the button, the
LED will burn solid red for 5 seconds: The
radiator valve has left the network.
Manually open or close the thermostatic
radiator valve
• Press the button for 5 seconds and
release.
The LED will blink for 2 seconds:
» Orange-green if the radiator valve is
fully closed, and as such blocks the
radiator from heating.
» Orange-red if the radiator valve is
fully opened and as such allows the
radiator to heat up.
The thermostatic radiator valve will
continue normal operation as soon as a
change in the schedule has been made or a
new target temperature is set.
