Precautions and
safety
The thermostatic radiator valve is
suitable for connection on
M30x1,5mm radiator valves. The
thermostatic radiator valve is
equipped with the adapter rings
M28x1,5 and Danfoss RA. If your
radiator is suited with a different
connection, please contact your
installer. The installer can provide
another adapter ring to ensure the
thermostatic radiator valve can still
be installed.
A traditional radiator often does not
have a suitable valve connection to
install a thermostatic radiator valve
such as the Plugwise radiator valves.
First you have to replace the valve
connection with a casing that will
allow for tting a thermostatic
radiator valve.
Never install the thermostatic
radiator valve if the valve pin is
extended. Is the valve pin not fully
retracted? See page 16.
First install the thermostatic radiator
valve, before powering it up. When
powering up, it will try to calibrate.
For a successful calibration the
thermostatic radiator valve must rst
be mounted.
Only applicable to Tom
Do not install Tom with the USB
adapter if you want to use Tom
together with batteries. The battery
lifetime will reduce dramatically in
case you have installed Tom with the
USB adapter and then change to
battery power supply. Do you want to
switch the power supply later?
Remove Tom from the network and
re-add Tom to the network connected
to the right power supply.
Never install Tom with batteries and
USB adapter at the same time!
