Pakketinhoud Tom en Floor zijn slimme thermostatische radiatorknoppen die je kunt installeren binnen jouw bestaande Zigbee-netwerk (Home Automation 1.2). In deze handleiding wordt in het kort uitgelegd hoe je de radiatorknop installeert. Als er wordt gesproken over een radiatorknop, wordt hier zowel Tom als Floor mee bedoeld. Gaat het specifiek om Tom of Floor, dan wordt dit duidelijk aangegeven.
De radiatorknop is geschikt voor aansluiting op een M30x1,5 radiatorverbinding. Ook worden de adapterringen M28x1,5 en Danfoss RA meegeleverd. Als de radiator een andere verbinding heeft, raadpleeg dan een installateur. De installateur kan voor een andere adapterring zorgen zodat de radiatorknop toch kan worden aangesloten. Een handbediende radiatorknop heeft een kraanafsluiter die niet geschikt is voor een thermostatische radiatorknop zoals de Plugwise radiatorknop.
Zigbee-netwerk Floor wordt gevoed met een USB-adapter. Tom kan zowel met batterijen als met een USB-adapter gevoed worden. Afhankelijk van deze keuze, zal Tom tijdens de installatie in een nieuw netwerk automatisch het gedrag aanpassen. Als je de radiatorknop installeert met de USB-adapter heeft deze altijd stroom. De radiatorknop gedraagt zich als een “Zigbee Router” (ZR). De radiatorknop is nu altijd bereikbaar voor andere Zigbee-modules en vergroot de kwaliteit van het Zigbee-netwerk.
NL radiatorknop als de pen volledig is ingetrokken. • Verwijder de bestaande radiatorknop van de radiator. Raadpleeg hiervoor de documentatie van de fabrikant. Gebruik een van de adapterringen om de radiatorknop aan te sluiten. De adapterringen zijn geschikt voor Heimeier, Comap, Herz, Oventrop, Danfoss RA(V) en nog veel meer. Let op: niet alle radiatorknoppen kunnen zomaar worden verwijderd. Neem contact op met een installateur als je er niet helemaal uitkomt.
2. Sluit de voeding aan Floor • Sluit de USB-adapter aan op de adapterkabel en steek de stekker in het stopcontact. Floor zal beginnen met kalibreren. Tom Kies of je Tom wilt gebruiken met een USB-adapter of met batterijen. • Haal de kap van Tom om de voeding te plaatsen. Houd de witte adapterring stevig vast en trek de kap er vanaf. opening • Plaats de kap terug op Tom. • Sluit de adapterkabel aan op de USB-adapter en steek de stekker in het stopcontact. De radiatorknop zal beginnen met kalibreren.
NL 3. Voeg toe aan het Zigbee-netwerk • Log in op de lokale web-interface (HTML-interface) van Adam HA. Zorg ervoor dat je bent verbonden met hetzelfde netwerk als waarmee ook Adam is verbonden » open de HTML-interface in de app » of ga naar connect.plugwise.net en log in met het ID van Adam. • Ga via het menu naar Indeling om een apparaat toe te voegen. • Gebruik de optie om een nieuw apparaat toe te voegen (het +icoontje rechts onderin het scherm).
Gebruik Bediening via de app of Lisa De radiatorknop wordt aangestuurd door Adam HA of een andere gateway waaraan je die hebt toegevoegd. Je stelt via de app of web-interface van die gateway de temperatuur van de zone in en de radiatorknop wordt voor je ingesteld. Verwijder de radiatorknop uit het netwerk • Druk de knop 3 seconden in en laat los. • Druk binnen 1 seconde opnieuw de knop 3 seconden in en laat los. • Druk binnen 1 seconde de knop 10 seconden in en laat los.
NL Kalibreer (opnieuw) de radiatorknop De radiatorknop kalibreert automatisch tijdens het opstarten. Maar dit kun je ook zelf regelen: Kalibreren gaat niet goed als de radiatorknop niet is aangesloten op de radiator. Dit gaat fout omdat de radiatorknop het bevestigingspunt niet kan vaststellen. Web-interface Adam HA: • Ga via het menu naar Indeling. • Ga naar de radiatorknop en klik onder Apparaatinformatie op Meer. • Klik vervolgens op Kalibreren. Knop: • Druk de knop 10 seconden in en laat los.

In the package Tom and Floor are smart thermostatic radiator valves which you can add to your existing Zigbee network (Home Automation 1.2). In this manual we shortly describe how you install the thermostatic radiator valve. When we talk about the thermostatic radiator valve in general, we mean both Tom and Floor. When we specific mean Tom or Floor, this is clearly indicated.
The thermostatic radiator valve is suitable for connection on M30x1,5mm radiator valves. The thermostatic radiator valve is equipped with the adapter rings M28x1,5 and Danfoss RA. If your radiator is suited with a different connection, please contact your installer. The installer can provide another adapter ring to ensure the thermostatic radiator valve can still be installed.
Zigbee network Floor is powered by a USB adapter. Tom can be powered with both batteries or a USB adapter. Depending on which one you choose, Tom will automatically adapt its behaviour when joining a new network. If you install the thermostatic radiator valve with an USB adapter, it is permanently powered. The radiator valve will behave like a “Zigbee Router” (ZR). The radiator valve is now always available for other Zigbee modules and increases the quality of the Zigbee network. Installation 1.
• Remove the existing radiator valve. Please consult the documentation for more information about how to remove the radiator valve. You need one of the adapter rings to install the radiator valve. The adapter rings are suitable for Heimeier, Comap, Herz, Oventrop, Danfoss RA(V) and many more. Be aware, not all radiator valves can easily be removed. Please contact an installer if you are having difficulties. • Mount the thermostatic radiator valve on the radiator using the white adapter ring.
2. Connect the power supply Floor • Connect the adapter cable to the USB adapter and plug the adapter into the wall socket. Floor will start calibrating. opening Tom Please decide if you want to power up Tom using an USB adapter or batteries. • Put back the cap on Tom. • Remove the cap of Tom in order to place the batteries or USB adapter. Hold the white adapter ring firmly in place and pull the cap from Tom. • Connect the adapter cable to the USB adapter and plug the adapter into the wall socket.
EN 3. Add to the Zigbee network • Log in to the local web interface (HTML interface) of Adam HA. Make sure that your device is connected to the same network as to which Adam is connected: » open the HTML interface in the app » or go to connect.plugwise.net and log in with the ID of Adam. • Go via the menu to Setup to add an appliance. • Use the option to add a new appliance (the + sign in the right bottom corner).
Control Control via the app or Lisa You control the thermostatic radiator valve via Adam HA or another Zigbee gateway. Via the app or web interface of the gateway you can set the temperature for each zone, and the radiator valve is set for you. • Within 1 second, press the button for 10 seconds and release. After you have released the button, the LED will burn solid red for 5 seconds: The radiator valve has left the network.
Calibration does not succeed if the thermostatic radiator valve is not connected to the radiator. This goes wrong because the radiator valve cannot determine a fixing point. Web interface Adam HA: • Go to Setup via the menu. • Go to the thermostatic radiator valve and click below Device information on More. • Click on Calibrate. Push button: • Press the button for 10 seconds and release.
