DJUSTING TOOL
Factory pre-set for .236” (6 mm) strip length
1. Set V-Block to proper cable type (see Fig-A) by sliding V-Block out of housing. Rotate to proper
setting and re-insert.
2. Adjust the blade stripping depth with the hex wrench as shown in Fig B. The Hex wrench is
stored in the bottom of the tool.
3. Stripping distance (see Fig D) or length of the exposed shield & dielectric can be adjusted. Push
out the blade roll pin (see Fig A) with the hex wrench. Use tweezers (not supplied) to reposition
the blade to the proper slot in bottom jaw housing as shown in Fig C.

tool as shown.
Rotate.
