Before Use IMPORTANT! • Leave the unit in an upright position for at least 2 hours before use. • Always place the unit on an even surface. • The power cord has a built-in L.C.D.I. (Leakage Current Detection and Interruption) circuit breaker for added safety. If the power supply is interrupted, please press the reset button to reconnect the unit to the power source. The green light should be on. • Make sure the unit is connected to a correctly grounded power supply.

AutoDrain Technology Assembly 1 3 5 7 Attach Window Slide Bar Connector to Exhaust Hose by twisting as shown. Connect the female half of the quick connector at the end of the spiral water pipe to the male part in the hot air outlet pipe. 2 4 Assemble the hot air hose on the unit. 6 Unfold flexible hose with attached hose adapter connector, and snap into Window Slide Bar. 6 8 Put spiral water pipe into hot air flexible hose. Turn the connector 90 degrees clockwise until it is locked in place.
Installation of the Window Kit In order for this unit to function properly, it must be vented to the outside. Fitting the Exhaust Hose through a window is easy. Please see below. Adjustable Slide Bar Slide Bar Connector Exhaust Hose Window Kit Installation: 1. Extend Exhaust Hose at least 6" and insert it into the back of the unit, tightening into place by turning it clockwise. 2. Attach Slide Bar Connector to the other end of the Hose by extending hose at least 6".
Installation WARNING! The length of the exhaust pipe is specially designed according to the specification of this product.
Operation IMPORTANT: The air conditioner should be left in an upright position for at least two hours Test Button A. Turning the Unit On: 1. Plug the unit into a working electrical outlet. Reset Button 2. Make sure the green light on the plug is on. (If not, press the Reset button.) Green Light 3. Press the unit’s ON/OFF Button on the LCD display. It may take a few minutes before cold air is dispersed. 4. Adjust FAN Speed by pressing the FAN Button until the preferred fan speed is reached. 5.
Operation Timer The TIMER function allows you to program the time the unit turns on and turns off. TO SET THE TIMER: • Press the TIME button briefly, the 2 hour digits will flash. • Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the hour. • Press the TIME button again. The 2 minute digits will flash. • Press the UP or DOWN button briefly to adjust the minutes. • The TIME is set. After 10 seconds the time display returns. Programming the Timer for ON: • Perform the standard steps as described above.
Operation The unit will operate daily according to the timer setting, unless changed. After a power failure, or after the unit has been unplugged, you will have to program the timer settings again. Canceling the Timer Setting In order to cancel the timer programming press the TIME BUTTON. Sleep Mode The SLEEP MODE gradually adjusts the temperature of the unit 4 degrees upward, over a 3 hour period, to meet the needs of a body at rest. To activate the SLEEP MODE: • Ensure the unit is operating in Cool Mode.
Remote Control To Operate the Remote Control: Insert batteries by pulling down on front cover (See fig. 1). Be sure the remote is pointed at the unit at all times. 1. • • • To Set the Clock: Press the TIME button for 3 seconds. The hour digits will flash. Press UP or DOWN to adjust the hour. Press the TIME button. The minute digits will flash. Press UP or DOWN to adjust the minutes. • Press the TIME button when finished. 10:09 72 F° ON/OFF 2. Emptying The Water Container This air conditioning does not require emptying of the water container, except prior to season end storage. This portable AC features the Innovative AutoDrain Technology Very little excess water should accumulate. During the process of cooling, some of the water accumulated is actually used to cool the unit internally, making it run more efficiently. Both this evaporative technology and Innovative AutoDrain Technology are features not found in most portable air conditioners.
Maintenance Always unplug the unit from the wall before performing any maintenance. • Make sure the unit is drained before moving. Cleaning the Unit: • Only use a soft damp cloth. • Never use chemicals, oil-based products, detergents, or other cleaning solutions. These could damage the cabinet. Cleaning the Filter: • Slide out the filter holder from the unit. • Separate the filter fixer from the filter holder (see fig. 1). • Remove the active carbon filter (black).
Troubleshooting Never try to repair or dismantle the air conditioner yourself. Tampering with the unit may result in the loss of warranty and can endanger the user and property. Problem Cause The Unit Does Nothing Solution No power supply. Make sure outlet works. Be sure Green Light is on (L.C.D.I. Plug) Press Re-start button. Is the LCD light is flashing? Drain the Unit. Timer Function Set. Deactivate the Timer Function. Windows or doors are open. Close doors and windows. The filter is dirty.

AutoDrain Technology Assembly 1 3 5 7 Tendez la fin du tuyau légèrement. Attachez le connecteur de la barre de glissement de la fenêtre au tuyau d’Echappement en le tordant mme indiqué. 2 Connectez la partie femelle du connecteur rapide à la fin du tuyau d’eau enspirale à la partie mâle dans le tuyau de sortie d’air chaud. 4 Tendez la fin du tuyau légèrement. Assemblez le tuyau chaud d’air sur l’unité en vissant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
Installation de l’unité de fenêtre Pour un bon fonctionnement, l’unité doit être ventée vers l’extérieur. L’installation du tuyau d’échappement est facile. Voir ci-dessous Barre Ajustable Connecteur de barre ajustable Tuyeaux d’echappment Ensemble d’installation en fenêtre: 1. Étirez le tuyau d’échappement d’au moins 6” et l’insérer à l’arrière de l’unité, tout en serrant en le tournant vers la droite. 2. Attachez le connecteur de barre ajustable à l’autre bout du tuyau en l’étirant au moins 6”.
Installation Avertissement ! La longueur du tuyau d’échappement est spécialement conçue selon la spécification de ce produit. Ne pas l’étendre avec votre propre tuyau, comme ceci pourrait causer l’unité pour mal fonctionner.
Opération IMPORTANT: Le climatiseur doit être posé verticalement pour au moins deux heures. A. Mise en marche: 1. Insérez la prise de courant. 2. Assurez vous que la lumière verte de la prise soit allumée. Si non presses le bouton d’actionnment (“reset”.) 3. Pressez le bouton “arrêt / marche” (“on / off”) sur le panneau. Opération La minuterie La minuterie vous permet de programmer l’horaire de fonctionnement de l’unité. AJUSTEMENT DE LA MINUTERIE: • Pressez brèvement le bouton “heure”, les 2 chiffres de l’heure clignoteront. • Pressez le bouton “plus / moins” pour ajuster l’heure. • Pressez à nouveau le bouton “heure”, les 2 chiffres des minutes clignoteront. • Pressez le bouton “plus / moins” pour ajuster les minutes. • La minuterie est en fonction. Après 10 secondes, l’affichage de l’heure réapparaîtra.
Opération L’unité fonctionnera quotidiennement aux heures déterminées par la minuterie, à moins qu’il y est un changement. Après une panne d’électricité, ou si l’unité a été débranché, vous devez reprogrammer la minuterie. Annulation d’horaire de la minuterie: Pour ceci, pressez le bouton “heure” (“time”). Mode de sommeil Le “mode de sommeil” (“sleep mode”) augmentera la température de 4 degrés sur une période de 3 heures pour convenir à l’état de repos.
Télécommande Pour opérez la télécommande (“remote control”): Insérez les piles en glissant le couvercle avant vers le bas (voir fig. 1). Pointez la télécommande vers l’unité en tout temps. 1. Pour ajuster l’heure: • Pressez le bouton “heure” 3 secondes. • Les chiffres d’heures clignoteront. Pressez “plus” ou “moins” pour adjuster l’heure. • Pressez le bouton “heure”. les chiffres de minutes clignoteront. Pressez “plus” ou “moins” pour ajuster les minutes. • Pressez le bouton “heure” pour terminer.
Vider le récipient d’eau interne NOTE: Un bon équilibre entre la température et l’humidité est essentiel pour maintenir un environnement confortbale. Si l’humidité est élevée, il est nécessaire de vider le conteneur d’eau interne souvent, jusqu’à ce que l’humidité idéale soit établie. Quand le conteneur d’eau est plein, la lumière d’affichage clignotera. L’unité s’arrêtera automatiquement, bippera 15 fois, et l’eau devra être drainée avant que l’unité ne redémarre.
Entretien Toujours débrancher l’unité avant tout entretien. • Assurez-vous que l’unité soit drainée avant de la déplacer. Nettoyage de l’unité: • Utilisez toujours un linge doux et humide. • N’utilisez jamais de produits chimiques, des produits à base d’huile, des détersifs ou autres liquides nettoyants. Cela pourrait endommager l’extérieur. Nettoyage du filtre: • Glissez le cadre du filtre hors de l’unité. • Séparez les filtres du cadre (voir fig. 1). • Otez le filtre de charbon activé (noir).
