Clearing the multicast cache and the routing table
If special caches or the routing table is invalid, you need to clear its content. Run the following
commands in management mode:
Command Purpose
clear ip igmp group
[type number]
[group-address | <cr>]
Clears the items in the IGMP cache.
clear ip mroute
[* | group-address |
source-address]
Clears the items in the multicast routing table.
