60.4 VRRP Troubleshooting
In configuring and using VRRP protocol, the VRRP protocol may fail to run properl
y due to reasons such as physical connection failure or wrong configurations. The user
should ensure the following:
Good condition of the physical connection.
All interface and link protocols are in the UP state (use “show interface” comman
d).
Ensure VRRP is enabled on the interface. Verify the authentication mode of differe
nt routers (or L3 Ethernet switches) in the same standby cluster are the same.
Verify the timer time of different routers (or L3 Ethernet switches) in the same stan
