5.8 System Tools
Choose menu “System Tools”, and you can see the submenus under the main menu: SNMP, Time Settings,
Diagnostic, Ping Watch Dog, Firmware Upgrade, Factory Defaults, Backup & Restore, Reboot,
Password, System Log and Statistics. Click any of them, and you will be able to configure the corresponding
function. The detailed explanations for each submenu are provided below.

5.8.1 SNMP
Choose menu “System Tools→SNMP” to enable this function to allow the network management station to
retrieve statistics and status from the SNMP agent in this AP. Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is
a popular network monitoring and management protocol, used to refer to a collection of specifications for
network management that includes the protocol itself.
