modulesarecompliantwiththeQSFP28MultisourceAgreement(MSA)andhot
pluggable.ThesemodulesofferaneasywaytobeinstalledinQSFP28MSA
compliantportsatanytimewithouttheinterruptionofthehostequipmentoperation.
TheQSFP-100GseriesalsosupportsSFP-DDM(DigitalDiagnosticMonitor)
functionthatgreatlyhelpsnetworkadministratortoeasilymonitorreal-time
parametersoftheSFP,suchasopticaloutputpower,opticalinputpower,
temperature,laserbiascurrent,andtransceiversupplyvoltage.
TheQSFP-100GseriesoftheQSFP28Ethernetmodule canbeinstalledinPLANETswitchproductswith100GBASE-SR4/LR4QSFP28interface.
Thedeploymentdistancecanbeextendedfrom100meters(multi-mode,MPO)toupto10kilometers(single-mode,LC).TheQSFP28transceivers
arehot-pluggableandhot-swappable.Youcanpluginandpulloutthetransceiversto/fromanyQSFP28portwithouthavingtopowerofftheswitch.
